At Day Dream Farm Winery we wanted to bring the warm, inviting feel of a small, family-run business to our home. Craig, a skilled finish carpenter and cabinet maker since the age of 19, and Suzi, a registered nurse, envisioned a way to transition into their retirement years on their modest three-acre property.

"Over the years, we've raised egg-laying and meat chickens, hogs, and managed an apiary for eight years. We also ran a farm stand where we sold honey, candles, and fresh vegetables".

Craig, who is also a musician, had the opportunity to perform at several local wineries, and it was through these experiences that the idea for their winery first took shape. In 2017, local musician Mitch Larson introduced Craig to the art of winemaking, and they have been deeply grateful for the support they've received from local wineries ever since.

Together, Craig and Suzi knew they could create a small tasting room that would feel like home, offering a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere, as if you were spending time in a friend's backyard.

Their niche—what sets them apart—is their mead, or honey wine. Made from honey, mead is the oldest known alcoholic beverage. They have taken this ancient drink and crafted something truly unique, infusing it with spices and fruits to create a distinct, flavorful experience.
